Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Vehive, operated by TechQuadrant ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using Vehive, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Vehive. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Vehive. If you are between 13 and 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use Vehive with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.

By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and current, and that you meet the eligibility requirements described above.

Your Account

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential.
  • All activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it.
  • Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date account information.

You may only maintain one account. Creating multiple accounts to evade restrictions, inflate engagement, or mislead other users is a violation of these Terms.

Vehicle Ownership

You may only add vehicles to your garage that you currently own or have explicit authorization to document (for example, a vehicle you are building for a client with their permission).

Falsely claiming ownership of another person's vehicle is a serious violation of these Terms. We reserve the right to request proof of ownership at any time. Failure to provide proof, or adding vehicles you do not own, may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination.

When you sell or transfer a vehicle, you should remove it from your garage. If another user adds a vehicle you believe is yours, use the report feature or contact us.

Content You Post

You retain ownership of all photos, text, and other content you upload to Vehive("Your Content"). By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute Your Content within the platform and in promotional materials for the platform (such as shared links, social previews, and marketing).

This license exists solely to operate and promote Vehive. We will not sell Your Content to third parties. You can delete Your Content at any time, and the license ends once the content is removed from our systems (subject to reasonable technical delays and backup retention as described in our Privacy Policy).

You represent that you have the right to post any content you upload and that it does not violate the rights of any third party.

Prohibited Content and Conduct

You agree not to post content or engage in conduct that:

  • Is illegal or promotes illegal activity.
  • Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or obscene.
  • Harasses, bullies, threatens, or intimidates any person.
  • Promotes hate speech, discrimination, or violence against any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
  • Impersonates another person or misrepresents your identity or affiliation.
  • Contains spam, unsolicited advertising, or commercial solicitation.
  • Involves stolen vehicles, illegal modifications, or parts with removed or altered serial numbers.
  • Infringes on the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others.
  • Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code.
  • Attempts to circumvent security measures, access other users' accounts, or scrape data from the platform.
  • Manipulates engagement metrics or the activity feed through automated means.

We reserve the right to determine what constitutes a violation at our sole discretion. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.

Content Moderation

We are committed to maintaining a respectful community. To that end:

  • We review all reports submitted through the in-app report feature and take action where appropriate.
  • We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, at any time, without prior notice.
  • We may use automated tools to scan for prohibited content, including content that violates applicable laws.
  • We may preserve content that is the subject of a legal hold or investigation even after you delete it.

While we strive to enforce these standards, we do not guarantee that all violations will be caught or addressed immediately. If you encounter content that violates these Terms, please report it.

Reporting and Blocking

Vehive provides tools to help you control your experience:

  • Report— you can report users, vehicles, or content that you believe violates these Terms. Our team reviews all reports and takes action as warranted.
  • Block— you can block users to prevent them from viewing your garage, following you, or interacting with your content. Blocked users will not be notified that they have been blocked.

Abusing the report feature (filing false or frivolous reports to harass other users) is itself a violation of these Terms.

Intellectual Property

Vehive, including its design, features, code, logos, and branding, is the property of TechQuadrant and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on Vehive without our written permission.

If you believe content on Vehive infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at support@techquadrant.com with a detailed description of the alleged infringement. We will investigate and respond in accordance with applicable law.

VIN Data and Vehicle Information

Vehicle specifications displayed in Vehiveare decoded from the VINs you provide using the NHTSA public database and other publicly available sources. This data is provided "as is" for informational purposes only.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of decoded vehicle information. NHTSA data may contain errors or omissions. You should independently verify vehicle specifications where accuracy is critical. We are not liable for any decisions made based on vehicle data displayed in Vehive.

Account Suspension and Termination

By you: You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. When you delete your account, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in conduct that is harmful to other users or the platform, or for any other reason at our discretion. Where possible, we will provide notice and an explanation before or at the time of suspension. In cases of severe violations (fraud, stolen vehicles, harassment), we may terminate immediately without notice.

Upon termination, your right to use Vehive ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution) will survive.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Vehiveis provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that Vehive will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that defects will be corrected, or that the platform is free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through Vehive, including vehicle data, user-generated content, or other materials.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TechQuadrant and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use Vehive.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to Vehive shall not exceed the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TechQuadrant and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: your use of Vehive, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party right, or any content you post on the platform.

Dispute Resolution

Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Informal resolution first: Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at support@techquadrant.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Vehiveshall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis, not as a class action. The arbitrator's decision will be final and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Class action waiver: You agree that disputes will be resolved individually and that you waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding.

Exceptions: Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

Your continued use of Vehive after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the service and delete your account.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if modification is not possible, it will be severed. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TechQuadrant regarding your use of Vehive. They supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral, regarding the subject matter of these Terms.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.
